Project 02
Automation Playground
A future home for scripts, workflow experiments, cleanup tools, dashboards, and small automations that make repetitive tasks less annoying.
Preview
Workflow direction
A stylized preview of the kind of automation dashboard this project could become: quick actions, status cards, logs, cleanup tools, and tiny utilities in one place.
Overview
Why this exists
Automation Playground is where I can collect practical little tools: scripts that save time, dashboards that make systems easier to understand, cleanup helpers, maintenance checklists, and workflow experiments.
Not every project needs to be huge. Sometimes the best projects are tiny tools that remove friction, prevent mistakes, or make boring tasks faster.
Goal
Make repetitive stuff easier
The goal is to build a library of small, useful utilities that help with server maintenance, file cleanup, website updates, backups, monitoring, and other recurring tech chores.
Build ideas
What might live here
- Website deployment helper scripts
- AWS cleanup and restart checklists
- Log review shortcuts
- Photo/file organization tools
- Small dashboard experiments
Lessons
What I want to learn
This project is a good excuse to practice writing cleaner scripts, documenting repeatable processes, reducing manual steps, and turning messy one-off fixes into reusable tools.
Next steps
Start small
The first version does not need to be fancy. A simple list of real tasks, scripts, notes, and examples is enough. Once useful patterns appear, the page can evolve into a proper automation dashboard.
